Antelope Valley Dog and Cat Rescue, Inc.

John Sholl has accepted the position of Volunteer Coordinator for the Antelope Valley Dog and Cat Rescue. In this role, John will be responsible for the coordination of volunteer activities and recruitment. There will be a transition period in which John will be coordinating and scheduling volunteers to work at our sanctuary with the assistance of Eileen Medeiros , a Board Member. John has plans to develop an active volunteer recruitment program to assist with fund raising, adoptions, and sanctuary needs. John is semi-retired, he says he’ll never be retired, is actively preparing himself for a second career in education, and is taking courses in Special Education at Antelope Valley College. His other interest is in fly fishing, a member of Sierra Pacific Fly Fishers, and classic cars, he drives a 1952 Chevy Suburban and is restoring a 1970 Corvette.
