Who Are the People Behind the Antelope Valley Dog and Cat Rescue, Inc.?


The Antelope Valley Dog and Cat Rescue, Inc. is made up of its Directors and Volunteers. We couldn't do what is necessary for the dogs and cats at the Rescue if it wasn't for the kindness, generosity, and donations from the people of the Antelope Valley and beyond.

Debbie Schmidt/dsh Solutions
Webmaster & Volunteer

Debbie Schmidt is the owner of dsh Solutions, a website design and maintenance company. Debbie also does marketing consulting and design for individuals and small businesses.

Debbie is also very active in the community. She is the President and Secretary of the Quartz Hill Town Council, a Director on the Quartz Hill Chamber of Commerce, has been a primary in the last 4 Veterans' Day Parades and Festivals, teaches computer skills and video chat to the veterans at the Pete Knight Veterans Home, works with the Antelope Valley Dog and Cat Rescue, is the Website and IT Chair for Zonta International's District 9, works on the Antelope Valley Walk MS, is working with environmental groups to make sure that the alternative energy companies flooding the Antelope Valley are working and building responsibly to preserve the natural resources inherent in our wonderful desert area, has worked diligently to get the Community Standards together to preserve Quartz Hill's rural qualilties, and generally tries to stay busy and out of trouble!
